Geidi Prime is rancid and hot, filled with the stench of unwashed peasants and the smog of factories. The processing of Spice and the hum of suspensors fills the air.
I am standing on a balcony. I have never seen my husband, not once. The landscape similar to my home planet of Ix, dirty and polluted.
Being the only daughter of the Vernius family left alive after the betrayal on Caladan, being wed into House Harkonnen was a logical conclusion, though the marriage itself remained seperate from presence.
The only thing I knew for sure was that we both despised the House Atreides. A marriage to an older man was normal in the universe, it was not, howeever normal, not to have contact.
I will be Playing an OC: Hana Vernius-Atreides, the only living offspring of the union between Kailea Vernius and Duke Leto Atreides. Abandoned on Ix after my mother's death. She is 21 during this RP.
This will take place before the Harkonnen attack on Arrakis and in an AU where House Harkonnen actually wins.
This AU is also an "only exception" AU both ways where both the Baron and my character are not attracted to the opposite sex, except for each other.
There is also one HUGE aspect of the Baron's character that will be changed, as most Dune fans will know. But I'll save that for when we actually chat.
