Tips and Advice for Safe Sessions

G’day and Howdy Everyone

With alot of new and experienced people here every week, I wanted to share a friendly reminder about keeping things safe, and enjoyable for all of us. I’ve heard too many horror stories from people I've worked with about what this subreddit has to offer, and as someone who’s been here for years, here are some habits which I do that can make a difference for both subs and tists.

-Consent should be ongoing and enthusiastic. You should discuss boundaries, limits (hard and soft), and wants/wishes before any trance begins. Check in during and after sessions too. Consent can be withdrawn at any time and the capacity to do so should NEVER be impaired.

-Always agree on a clear safe word that stops everything immediately. For deeper trances where speaking might be hard, add a non-verbal signal (tapping or raising a hand).

-Manage and Talk about expectations, session length, any specific triggers or themes, and aftercare needs.

-Verification helps everyone. Consider getting (or asking for) verification, this can be done at everyone’s discretion, but it helps soothe nerves that who you’re talking to is who they say they are.

-Start light and build intensity over multiple sessions. Rushing deep conditioning or permanent suggestions with someone you just met is rarely a good idea.

-Hypnosis can be emotionally intense. Make time for grounding, checkins (virtual or real), and follow up the next day if needed. (Aftercare matters).

-Always get explicit approval before creating any suggestion or trigger. Never implant any hypnotic suggestion or trigger without talking about it first, especially if you don’t know the person.

-Trust your gut!!! If something feels off during negotiations or a session, it’s okay to pause or walk away. Your comfort and safety come first.

All of these can be accomplished by just communicating. If youre a tist, communicate. If youre a sub, communicate. It’s not that hard and should be the bare minimum for anyone who’s interested in actual hypnosis rather than just rp’ing.

If you're new here, feel free to ask questions you want. Any fellow tists, feel free to add your ideas to this list, and subs feel free to take notes or add what you look for. Cheers and happy drifting deep down!

A note here, all are welcome to reach out, however not everyone will be accepted. This will be a somewhat exclusive community to keep the bots, creeps, and fakers at bay. I look forward to hearing from everyone, and creating a community where hypnosis can be safe, open, and enjoyable for everyone!

Real hypnosis isn’t a one way street where one side does all the work and the other is just there for the ride. Knowing what you’re looking for is really helpful, and sharing it can help teach others to look for those things as well. For all of the real Tists out there, what do you all look for in subjects? Subs, what do you look for in a hypnotist?

Hey everyone, I’ve found some bots have started copy/pasting my posts trying to get karma on this sub. With that, here are some signs to watch out for bots on this subreddit!

-Onlyfans, Snapchat, Telegram, or any other “my link” in their bio

-Spamming across various subs in a short period of time

-irregularity with age on their profile (22f and 18f on different posts of theirs)

These are the most obvious, try to watch out everyone! If you see content that looks like mine, but are from a bot, please do me a favor and report! Good luck and happy drifting deep down!
