I’ve been swapped from Tapentadol Instant release to Tapentadol sustained release, and just want to know the best way to bypass the extended release.

These SR tablets are bigger, white, have that 3d oval shape and don’t seem to have any coating over them.

I presume crushing them for a parachute or just chewing them will make them instant release but I couldn’t find any clear answers, so if someone could let me know that would be great!
