I made a (slightly wonky) blue heeler snoot!

Made using EVA foam, super glue, acrylic paint, and elastic ribbon. It's a bit longer than I would have liked, but I still think it's super cute! I already have a mask but I like getting crafty and always liked the idea of being able to make my own gear. Plus I have a lot of foam laying around after I used just a bit of a giant roll of it for a Halloween costume.

I'm curious- do many of you consider yourself a specific breed of dog?

Personally, I'm fascinated by dog breeds and their histories, so I put a lot of thought into deciding what kind of dog I am. I'm an Australian cattle dog/blue heeler. I'm high-energy and always need to be doing something, I'm outdoorsy, I love a challenge or puzzle, I'm deeply loyal and affectionate with people I trust. I also kind of look like one (short and stocky, dark-haired and going grey prematurely) and I love all things Australian (I've spent time there before and one of my life goals is to move there.) So, are many of y'all specific breeds, and if so, what led you to pick the one you are?
