Anyone who's had to have reconstruction of the clitoral hood done?
I'm botched, confirmed by another professional and while other areas within my Vulva are problematic aswell, the area surrounding the Clitoris is the worst apparently. Scarred, totally flat and amputated, deformed. I'll contact Dr. Dan mon O'Day in the following days for reconstruction while finding myself a medical lawyer.
I went through Labiaplasty of the Labia Minora and CHR over 6 months ago. It was during recovery, when I noticed one particular part on my Labia near the Clitoris looking seperated and scallopped, asymmetrical aswell. The incisions above my clitoris were, and remain promined. Mentioned spots showed no improvement over the course of six months, they cause tension and look unnatural, aesthetically unpleasing, leaving me disappointed.
My surgeon on the other hand appears to be thrilled. He stated, that he can't see the thickened scars above my clitoris, on the sides of my clitoral hood, nor that my upper left labia looks seperated and scalloped but if it still annoys me after 12 months he might consider revision with local anesthesia.
I personally can't help but feel botched and gaslit and have considered seeking revision elsewhere but where? Should I go to another plastic surgeon or someone who specializes in reconstruction of the female genitalia?
I'm afraid that a "regular" plastic surgeon won't be able to fix this or even worse -botch me even further.
But is it even enough to go to someone who specializes in female genitalia mutilation? Since we're talking about rather small areas, approximately 1cm in length each.
I'd be interested in hearing from other individuals with simmilar experiences and/or knowledge.
