To get the discount, first click this link to visit the TransAngels landing page.

Then, click anywhere on the page and enter your email address on the next screen.

Select the 30-day subscription for $8.99 (in my case, the amount is displayed in euros, as shown in the screenshot), choose your payment method, and click "Get Access Now."

If you choose to pay by credit card, you will then need to enter your credit card details, a password of your choice, your full name, your country, and your postal code.

Finally—before clicking "Start Membership"—make sure to deselect the additional offer I have highlighted in blue in the last image.

Please note that the initial $8.99 fee for the 30-day membership will be automatically charged again every 30 days until the membership is cancelled.
