A few days ago, the Happiest of Handler's u/HappyLuxurryDom provided a daunting challenge to complete. While in a game of Overwatch quick play, obtain a combined total of damage, healing, and MIT between Him and i of 30,000 and win the game. This is a monumental task as most quick play games end with little chance to get to this point total.
Game after game, we fell short of the 30k mark. Either a quick game or a brutal battle on overtime ending in our loss prohibited us from obtaining the goal.
After a week of falling short of the goal, Happy upped the ante. Knowing how excited i get when it comes to bedtime stories, He added a new reward to the challenge: a bedtime story if we hit the goal in the next week.
Fueled by determination, we launched into a matchup of control. After 11 minutes of intense fight, the scores came in. Happy, playing His Reaper main, with 14,716 damage and 2,250 heals; the highest among all DPS that match. i came in with Lucio uping the tempo of the team at 4,333 damage, 8,344 heals, and 1,584 MIT. A combined total of 31,237.
