Daisies, organic rope and portrait photography. Details of the Spring-tie.
Self rope and Photography, 4/2026

Self-tied headpiece, I've used a ladder tie on the back of my head. The rope used was cotton, 6mm, and organically dyed. The roses were from my bouquets, scattered around the Black Household. I've photographed with my Canon 6D and 50mm lens in natural light.

I thought it would be one of the more physically challenging shoots - but I've underestimated myself. It went smoother than I'd imagined, and I'm so thrilled, happy, excited, and satisfied, happy with myself - all of the emotions - when you, as a verse, rope mentor, can do all of it - by yourself. Thank you, m bod,y and my soul, for being able to be pushed and do the assignment.
