Hot weather and dressing
We have extreme weather at the moment in the UK, and while care must be taken so ensure we stay cool and hydrated, it really doesn’t mean we should dress in minimal clothing when outside! I was out yesterday with my husband for a light lunch, and the number of women wearing almost nothing at all was astonishing. Some of them were wearing only what could be described as underwear, it was really shameful to see! Not only is it highly unbecoming of a woman to dress that way, it’s also not safe, with so much skin directly exposed to the sun. It seemed like attention-seeking more than anything else. I was in my long, loose cotton dress and was very comfortable in it. How did it become acceptable for us to use hot weather as an excuse to dress like that in public?!
