Something new and creative is great, but I have to choose realistic. It is the one you can more easily envision yourself in.
I love a mom/bully situation depending on the day, but wife (maybe with kids) is a solid choice.
I was thinking about those BAD bad endings, meaning the AOtG ⚰️ one, the Inn's🪑🦵one, or the SoL's 🤕? Too much?
To me, only the Inn's one made me actually uncomfortable. Too crude.
I do prefer when the MC stays alive to keep on suffering. And a happy ending to calm the emotions and keep it as canonical is welcome too.
