Resting Spot (by Stylish_Apollo)

Being the queen of the Pride Lands has its perks. Not only does such a high and mighty title come with its due respect, but it also allows her to get by on some questionable habits. Nala may have changed since becoming the queen, but she never lost the sassy little cub in her. That's how she nabbed Simba after all and was blessed with two cubs of her own. What are some of those questionable habits you might be wondering? Say for example you were a random no-name lion. It would be expected of you to respect your queen and follow her leadership, but sometimes that might entail things you never anticipated. Maybe you're just curled up, nestled near some bushes around midday, just as the sun is going down behind the trees. All is cozy, but suddenly you feel another presence. The warm sunlight is blocked by an imposing new figure as they stand over you. She asks you one question, "Would you mind if I rested on your face?" Why it's Queen Nala herself! And looking as curvy as ever since becoming a mother and gaining a lot of weight! I mean, you don't have any other plans do you? Plus, you're already in prime throne position. Without you even answering, the deal is already settled and Nala has found her new, albeit temporary, resting spot. Just remember the unspoken rule of the Pride Lands ever since she became queen: double tap her cheek if you need air!

Hinotori's Notes:

Nala from the Lion King was already quite a staple of the time because of her strength and sensuality in the 1994 film. There was a time where there great debates online following the Disney film's release that it had borrowed or stolen the valor of Osamu Tezuka's 'Jungle Emperor Leo' or 'Kimba the White Lion', but that debate never seemed to reach the discourse on Kemono Island's Paint BBS. I think it was happy to have another beautiful lion girl to draw that inspired Comet. ^^
