an underrated dynamic is when the MC fully understands themselves and likes bl while the ml is discovering a new world. or when mc likes bl but doesn't fully understand the real reason he likes it.

both have their issues if you think of the reality of life living in that setting. you can not choose what you are in either world. (bonus question: a world with animal characteristics or not?)
