How are they achieving this level of realism? (FLUX/SDXL/LoRA workflow?)
I've been studying some AI-generated portraits lately and I'm trying to understand the workflow behind them.
I'm attaching an example image.
What impresses me isn't just the realism, but how controlled everything is:
- realistic skin pores and imperfections
- natural underarm hair
- convincing sheer/translucent clothing
- subtle visibility of clothing underneath transparent fabric
- believable anatomy
- realistic lighting and shadows
- fabric behaving naturally
I'm curious what techniques are responsible for this.
Is this mainly:
- FLUX or SDXL?
- Character LoRAs?
- Skin/detail LoRAs?
- Prompt engineering?
- Multiple inpainting passes?
- ControlNet/IPAdapter/PuLID?
- Photoshop after generation?
If you've built workflows capable of this level of realism, I'd love to know what contributes the most.
