Found the guy who took my virginity after years… and now I’m confused.
I recently matched with someone on a gay hookup app, and he texted me saying we had hooked up before. He told me he missed me but had lost my number. At first, I was really confused and couldn’t remember him, so I asked him to send me a picture.
When he did, I was honestly shocked and a little emotional. I immediately remembered who he was. He was the guy who took my virginity back in 2022, when I had just turned 20. He was 26 at the time.
I still remember that night because I was so scared to bottom for the first time. We used a condom, and he was incredibly patient, supportive, and calm with me. He took his time, made sure I felt comfortable, and never rushed me. I remember feeling safe the entire time. I even cried afterward, but they were happy tears because the experience was so much better than I had expected.
Now he’s asking if I’d like to meet up again.
The thing is, I don’t think I can. It’s not because he’s a bad person—he was actually really kind to me. I’m just worried that seeing him again would bring back a lot of emotions, and I’m afraid I might become emotionally attached because he was my first.
