Does anyone know why they removed the option to choose alternative routes found in the early versions? Now, Winter is the only chapter with an alternative route where we don't lose Tsugumi.
And if that were the case, what kind of route would there have been for Azusa's chapter? Do you think there would have been a route where we didn't lose Azusa to Kujo?
As for SOL, we know the summer episode felt rushed; essentially, it was nothing more than filler. The problem is that it bears no relation to the previous episodes, even though the game is supposed to tell Satoshi's story.
One way to connect the chapters, then, would be to reveal that Aiko is actually Azusa and that Genta is the son she had with Kujo—just as she confessed to Satoshi at the end of Autumn. In fact, in the original game, Genta even shared the same stance as Kujo. This would allow the story to unfold such that, after the passage of time and Genta's birth, Azusa and Kujo decided to leave the city for a while to move to a small town, with Genta turning out to be a scoundrel just like his father, following in his footsteps.

I would have liked to see a scene of the place where Kujo takes Azusa to get her tattoo; he says it's someone he knows. Even in the game's epilogue, Azusa has another tattoo, which could mean he took her to the same person, and we could have also seen what the area where Kujo lives looks like.
This is my personal opinion, but I think Saeko should have had her own chapter in the game. Because, let's be honest, the last two chapters weren't as good as Autumn and Winter, especially Summer, which has no connection to the previous ones. A storyline with Saeko would have been interesting, since, even though Satoshi and Saeko didn't get along in the game, Saeko was still one of the last links Satoshi had to his former life, and Tsugumi's abandonment could have brought them closer, since one lost his girlfriend and the other his sister. A friendship could have formed, and when Saeko also abandoned Satoshi as his mother and girlfriend, it could have been the turning point that led Satoshi to become the person we see in the Spring chapter.What do you think?
