I (36m) think MIL(53m) is into me
Been married 8 years, MIL was never on the radar but recently we've been talking more and she caught my eye. She's emotionally mature, she's hot, she has a fantastic rack and we often chat late nights via text.
A few of our exchanges she's mentionned how much she loves me and how great of a man I am. Few days later she reiterated how much she loved me as a son in law.(Most of our texting occurs late night).- this was 3 months ago. Since then we started hugging more during our greetings in/out of her house. I've gone out of my way to make sure I do everytime while slowly moving my hand down from the top of her back to her lower back (now). Hoping to move to the hips soon but I haven't gotten any resistance to any of the other advances yet.
The more recent exchanges she often kept saying good night son in law and I texted back good night MIL. I added I almost made a mistake with autocorrect. She inquired what it came up with. I let her know "milf", she sent a smiling grin emoji with "that's funny". Again, it was a late night chat between us.
She's exchanged some old pictures of us together and I'm trying to hint towards something by using the heart emoji on our pics, I've been complimenting her on her dresses and she hearts my compliments back. I've encouraged her to wear more over summer and she said she has plenty and enjoys wearing them. (Here's hoping that she will because I usually compliment her in person when she wears one)
Now I guess I'm not sure. Some of the discussions could seem very surface level and maybe I'm reading too much into it. I'm not sure what the next step is and how to know where she's leaning. I know she hasn't had sex for a few years with her husband (they are not getting along), and maybe that's driving some needs on her side that I'd happily oblige.
