The origins of societal organisation and "The Honorable Warfare" of the people of Tuj-Dha

Apologies for not posting this earlier like I wanted, but I had troubles with the other account and had to delete it and create this one (which I hope will remain funcional).

Also, I was asked to draw things regarding this project but sadly I'm not particularly good ad doing so. If I have enough time and can devote sufficient effort so that what I produce actually resembles something decent I will post it, but don't count on me doing so.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Mankind has had quite the interesting development in the continent of Tuj-Dha. While it has evolved over the course of some million years into what is basically Homo Sapiens, their societal evolution has been pretty different from ours.

The fact is humanity was confined for an unknown but very extensive period of time into a very small territory, that being a grassy valley completely enclosed by two great mountain systems which is known to it's present-day inhabitants as Bettto, "Womb".

During the millennias spent here humans lived mostly in small tribes made from a few families and engaged in hunting/gathering at first, small scale agriculture and animal husbandry later on. During all the time they were confined there, men never evolved their technological level above the Neolithic, nor did they had any reasons to. The fact is that the Bettto Valley is an extremely fertile place, abundant with natural food sources and teeming with wildlife. At the same time it is very poor in all surface ores, and in particular is nearly devoid of copper. Also, the mountainous ranges that enclose it are both very tall and very wide, meaning that any human that decided to venture outside of it had to endure extreme temperatures, difficult terrain and a near total lack of forage for miles on end. Not only that, but the landscape found right after the easiest pass is that of a rocky, hilly shrubland with little to eat and many predators who could severely threaten mankind (something the valley lacked). This combination of factors meant that humans were fairly content of their lives in their home, and did not see the necessity to progress further. In fact the main threat to their survival was overpopulation, but that was tipically self regulated by their reproductive customs (which I'll talk about later) or in extreme cases starvation.

But this situation could not continue eternally. About 6000 years ago the continent experienced a cold snap which drastically reduced the resources in the Bettto. Due to this many of the tribes escaped from the valley in search of food. This mass exodus saw mankind rapidly expand into the whole continent, settling down into all of its inhabitable surface. It was during and after this migration that humans learned to smelt and work metals (from copper early on to several kinds of bronze recently), as well as surpassing the tribal structure and adopting much more advanced and varied societal structures. This, thusly, gave rise to the different cultures and nations we can see in the present day; but due to the fact that the common root to all men, women and duales of the world is so close in time, all of this cultures share some traits with one another, such as common words and roots in language, similarities in very distant religions and, most interestingly, the conduct of warfare.

All nations in the world share the same basic structure of warfare: rather than it being resolved through weapons and killing, it is entirely based on sex- in particular large and specifically structured ritual orgies. This unique type of war is called by all "The Honorable War/Warfare", and it is the only thing that any nation has in common with the others.

Now, one may think that this behaviour is due to people of Tuj-Dha never having invented weaponry to kill one another, but this is not the case. Weapons were known and used by men from a very long time, especially for hunting (like the spear, knife, bow and hunting stick), but were also used to kill other human beings; and they still are used for this purpose, but only in non-warfare contexts. In fact, killing other people is a crime in a great deal of states, and it is only done legally to punish criminals convicted of particularly wicked crimes (such as murder itself).

So what comes? Well, like most other shared characteristics of human society on Tuj-Dha, the Honorable Warfare also derives from prehistoric customs and traditions.

As said before, the Bettto Valley was full of food and devoid of significant threats to the early humans. As such any conflict between different tribes didn't stem from control over food/water sources, but rather from cultural displays of dominance as well as the subsequent annexation of the defeated individuals into the winner's tribe. This ritual battles between a few warriors were sexual rather than simple sport matches because of the evolutionary features of humans, and in particular the sexual antagonism between males and duales.

The fact is that human ancestor did not always live in such a secluded paradise, and instead developed in conditions of great ambient stress, were resources were few and propagation of the species was paramount. It seems that the biological differences between the three sexes stemmed from this: women, being the main childbearers, benefitted from living longer lives as they could both produce more offspring as well as take care of their nephews and families in the older age thanks to their accumulated experience; meanwhile males and duales did not need to live as long since they weren't as partecipative in pregnancies (though duales do live slightly longer than males, possibly because they can get pregnant though it is rarer). The most important consequence though was the reproductive competitiveness between males and duales (as well as between themselves): since resources were so limited only the best and most biologically fit individuals could have sex with the females, and had thus to prove their superior genes through infighting. But since violent combat could result in the crippling or death of at least one of the contenders the fights became sexual in nature: complex wrestling matches in which the two opponents had the objective of exhausting the sexual stamina of the other before losing his. Though various methods to do so were and are applied, the most common one is through buttfucking. This is because of the physiology of males and duales: duales have a large and very sensitive prostate that procured them immense pleasure when stimulated, meaning that even the less-endowed males could rapidly deplete them of their energies if they gained the upper hand; meanwhile duales hace a way larger penis, last very long and can cum multiple times and thus can quite literally wreck male's assholes and fill them with so much cum that they would be rendered unable to stand or to keep their penises hard.

We also know that males are physically stronger than duales, and as such they would nearly always win in a duel. But as human populations had historically way less fertile and childless women than it had males or duales, this meant that such confrontations saw multiple combatants engaged either in free for alls or in group fighting (with groups either being decided by gender or more commonly by blood relations).

It is very interesting to note that the reproductive fitness of males and duales are very different not in quality but in method: males increase the fitness of the population by selecting the strongest, most agile, most perceptive individuals to pass on their genes, thus guaranteeing a new generation that is more capable of surviving against the environment; meanwhile duales increase the fitness by having enhanced sexual characteristics that basically guarantee fertility (funnily enough, male semen is more potent gram per gram compared to duale one, but duales produce so much more that they are overall more fertile), as well as being capable of bearing children themselves, thus increasing the size of the population way quicker than male could. It is not known which of the two strategies is better, if one is at all, since mankind found itself trapped in the Womb way before any of the two competing sexes could outcompete the other into extinction. Still, this way of life was so engrained into mankind that it was maintained into warfare as well as a sport, a friendly duel as well as a legitimate mean to resolve disputes. It also means that nearly all armies of the world are exclusively composed of males and duales, with only a few using just one sex as warriors and even less having females as soldiers (something that is often seen as dishonourable but not actually outside the Honorable Warfare, as they still engage in sexual confrontations)

Well, this was truly a lot of text. I sadly do not have the gift of brevity in worldbuilding, but I also feel that having more details works best in this scenarios rather than being vague.

Next post will talk about the most important nations and cultures of the world and their characteristics, which will be then expanded in dedicated lore post.

Thank you all for reading my puny work; I really appreciate any and all interactions and I will gladly respond to any questions regarding this project.

*Edit: it seems that my previous post done with the other account disappeared (even though I checked after deletion and I still found it). I will be working to recover it if it doesn't come back naturally, and if I can't I will write it back (although it won't be identical since I don't have it written elsewhere).
