Also, I see a lot of posts about withdrawing cash before entering Mexico near the McDonalds. Is there a reason why you don't withdraw at Hotel Cascadas ATMs? Seems like a better option than walking around with loads of cash on you? Seems like an easy lick for the Tijuana Policia, no?
Any credit cards you guys recommend to avoid international fees?
Also, do you guys have any tips on avoiding being taxed/robbed by the Tijuana Police? Most post just talk about how corrupt they are.
Last time this happened I was at La Mansion hotel and there was no AC or running water for 2 hours.
I plan on being there Thursday-Friday for some agency girl fun.
