Hey everyone — a lot of you have asked why you can’t upload videos directly here. Here’s the deal, straight from Reddit’s own rules: videos aren’t allowed as native uploads in 18+ communities. This is a platform-wide restriction, not something specific to our sub or the app.

The good news: there’s an easy workaround.

**1.**	Upload your video as a post on **your own profile** (video uploads work fine there)  
**2.	Crosspost/share** that post into this subreddit  
**3.**	Done — it’ll show up here just like a normal post

This works because crossposts are a different content type than native video uploads, so they’re not affected by the 18+ restriction.

Quick notes:

**•**	Use the **Reddit browser**, not the app, when uploading to your profile — the app doesn’t support it  
**•**	If crossposting ever fails for you, let us know in the comments — it may mean a setting needs adjusting on our end
