My Experience at Eurovision as a Giant
Went to the Eurovision finals yesterday in Vienna and… yeah, being a giant made the experience a little complicated.
First problem: the stadium roof. Apparently I was 'too tall to fit inside the stadium,' so I ended up tearing apart the roof completely so I could actually watch the stage. The sound of metal twisting and glass shattering was surprisingly satisfying, though I did get some funny looks from the security staff who were scattered like panicked ants below.
Second problem: seating. There wasn't any seat for my size, so I ended up sitting in a nearby park outside the stadium watching from above. The ground trembled slightly with each shift of my weight, and I had to be careful not to accidentally crush any benches. Honestly? Not the worst setup. I got to see the entire city glowing at night while listening to the performances.
And when Greece came on? I CHEERED. Pretty sure half of Vienna felt it. Car alarms started going off, birds flew out of the trees, and people inside the stadium thought there was an earthquake for a few seconds.
Last problem: snacks. They gave me 1000 pizzas but I was still starving to death. I should eat some tinies because Greece didn't go good. BUT I didn't do it. The temptation was real though - watching all those little people scurrying around below, completely unaware of how vulnerable they were to my appetite. I had to focus on the music to keep my predatory instincts in check.
The weirdest part was when some brave (or stupid) fans tried to climb my legs to get a better view. I had to gently shake them off before they got hurt.
7/10 night. Would do again, but maybe next time I'll bring my own snacks that actually satisfy my appetite.
