There's not a great subreddit that I can find which nicely blends traditional gender role marriage topics, power exchange from both lifestyle and kink aspects, D/s dynamics of marriage, domestic discipline as both lifestyle and kink aspects, and BDSM topics as they pertain to the dynamics of traditional gender roles of marriage or partnership.

Would love to see this one become that balanced space. Everything from D/s marriage protocols for daily living, to ideas for training house wives to be proper sluts for their HusDoms. Bring it all.

I'm many reddit subs I've encountered women who are interested in being submissive wives or practicing Domestic Discipline (husband spanks them) and coming from a career where they have to be authoritative. It's a pretty fascinating trend.

The theory I've heard that makes sense of this is that at work, women often have to be masculine and it suppresses their feminine traits. It's exhausting, and then either leads to an egalitarian dynamic at home with their man that is unsatisfying or creates an awkward switching cost where they can't really assume a traditional wife role at home when they are working full time.

What's more interesting, many women who have shared this would characterize themselves as having more dominant personalities, but really wanting to submit to a man they trust and respect. And not knowing how to reconcile this.

I think this is a great subreddit for the topic, and gives me much less of an ick than the patriarchy subreddit.
