The fireplace in the common room had long since burned down to a bed of ash, casting a dim, flickering glow over the worn armchairs. I (Jordan) sit in the far corner, a thick paperback open in lap, though my eyes kept drifting away from the page and sweeping across the quiet, echoing space.
My gaze lingers longest on you. You were sitting near the radiator, staring intently at a laptop screen with a furrowed brow, fingers resting completely still on the keyboard as if you were locked in a silent chess match with whatever words were blinking back at you. Wondering what kind of deadline you were fighting, or if you were simply hiding out from the rest of the world the same way I am. Without warning, you slam the laptop shut, stand up with a sudden move, and began walking straight across the room. Before I can even look back down at my book, you were standing right over me, casting a long shadow across the pages. Heart beating in my ears.
This is what i am hoping to RP in. Being someone who is fucked hard for being bi and it's all because whoever doesnt like that I'm not straight.
Accepting anyone who is willing to accept my strangeness with this and not make it overly mommy/daddy. And give me something to read not just a small hi. Need a good partner for this.
