This is how women see it
Hi there. I hope everyone is doing well. I’ve been part of this community for a while now, and I’ve seen, learned, and explored a lot regarding this fetish.
I really like belly buttons but... I’ve always been curious. I’ve seen posts about how to tell about this fetish to someone like a gf, or even to a related female friend with a pretty belly button. I'm very happy for those who have had the courage to do it or find it easy to do so, but at the same time, I understand that not everyone can do it for various reasons (maybe without sounding weird or fearing rejection.) So, my curiosity led me to do a little informal research among my female friends. I think that this way, people who lack the courage to do or say it can get an idea of how a woman might take it. There are many other factors that could play a role, but that isn't the topic right now.
So... what's my goal? I wanted to know what they, as women, think about their own belly buttons and the idea of their partners being attracted to that area. I exclude myself from that group bc I already have this kink lol.
What would they do? What would they think about it? By understanding their reactions and perspectives, I could share the info with you all, hoping it might serve as a little nudge or at least provide some interesting insight. I asked seven of my friends. Obviously, I didn’t ask them weird or blunt questions like, "Hey, would you like someone to stick a finger in your belly button?" or anything like that. I’m really good at having natural conversations with people, especially with them. During a classic girl's night sleepover and after talking about various things and catching up on a few matters... one of them was talking about an ex-boyfriend who had a thing for her feet, and then I successfully steered the conversation toward the belly and belly button. I knew that was the right moment.
Since it wasn't a time for jokes, the answers were sincere and straightforward. The responses fell into two camps: five of them felt that, even if they weren't happy with their belly or weight, if they were with a guy they loved, liked or genuinely cared for, they would have no problem letting him do whatever he liked with their tummy or belly button. The other two said that they have their own fetishes, so it’s good and almost essential for their partner to have at least one as well, so they’re on the same page. These responses applied not only to boyfriends but also to guys they were attracted to or interested in. Many girls tend to be a bit more guarded or even rude about these kinds of topics for various reasons; that is precisely why you need to know whom to share this with and whom not to.
One of them said "I like having hot wax poured on my belly but I don't like it when someone see me sitting down with my tummy being exposed or right after I've eaten." I realized that this fetish has an aspect that can complicate things: the fact that not all women are comfortable with their bodies, often harboring insecurities related to stretch marks, the shape of their belly button, being fat and similar concerns. I understand all this, but I think it's something very common due to beauty standards. I like showing off my belly on public, but I don't like how I look when I've eaten a lot or when I'm bloated. I know many people who react with disgust to bbs or simply don't care about them.
At the end we all agreed on the importance of always being honest and direct, without losing respect or composure. Self-confidence is also very important when expressing yourself, and nothing beats continuous communication for everything. Ultimately, it depends a lot on how open-minded someone could be. It's normal for us to feel desire just like the vast majority of people, but at the end of the day, each person can find pleasure in different ways.
I hope you find all this information useful. I’d like to know what you think!
