For a first fantasy toy, I’d look for:

- body-safe, non-porous silicone
- clear diameter / circumference measurements
- moderate girth
- softer or dual-density firmness
- gentle texture instead of aggressive ridges
- a stable flared base
- plenty of water-based lube

Knots can be fun, but I wouldn’t make a big knot my first challenge. A gradual swell or smoother curve is usually a better place to start.

Also, don’t treat full insertion as the goal. The first session should just be about learning the toy: how the texture feels, how the angle works, how much pressure feels comfortable, and whether the firmness is right for you.

If you’re unsure between two sizes, I’d almost always choose the smaller one first. You can always go bigger later, but starting too big can ruin the experience fast.

Short version: choose with your body, not just your eyes.
