What THC hallucinations are like
***DISCLAIMER: THIS IS IN THE PSYCHEDELICS SUB BECAUSE I WAS SEEING/HEARING STUFF AND IT FELT LIKE AN ACTUAL PSYCHEDELIC TRIP
I haven't ever seen anyone write a THC trip report. Probably because you're really not supposed to hallucinate on THC. Most people just green out before they notice anything, but my guess is that since I have a large enough body, I was able to barely fight going unconscious, and instead see the horrifying hallucinations I want to detail in this post.
I don't know exactly how much I had; this was my first ever edible and my friend had misread the label and gave me probably upwards of 25mg (as a first timer).
Keep in mind this was in public.
Everything started out as expected... I began feeling lazy and calm, which is how I was told I would feel. It slowly felt like my eyeballs were inflating and getting really watery. This was all normal so far. As it really started to kick in, I was told by my friend that my eyes were getting very very red.
Then it kept getting stronger. And stronger. And stronger. And wait, how is it still getting stronger. And EVEN STRONGER. And it wouldn't stop getting worse. Eventually it felt like I could barely hold open my eyes and the whole word was beginning to blur. I was barely able to speak. I could feel my heart rate increasing to a point where it started to hurt, and I asked a sober person if they could help calm me down.
I really didn't want to go to the hospital. So I kept fighting to stay conscious and not throw up as my whole world felt like it was rotating and pulling me in circles.
Then the hallucinations.
I began to hear people talk to me. I vividly remember hearing my friends voice from above my head. His words were slicing through the noise and it felt like they were tickling my brain. I laid down on the ground and began losing consciousness again. All I remember is closing my eyes one second and then opening them again and being in a parking lot getting helped along by my sober friend. I remember vividly seeing two of my friends in what I perceived to be a cop car. They both simultaneously called my name and happily said, "Good luck!". I looked away briefly as I stumbled around and tried to keep my footing. When I looked back a second later, I realized my friends weren't in a cop car. I was looking at a white sedan with nobody in it. My sober friend got me into his car and he drove me back home. The moment I would close my eyes, it felt like I would instantly shift into this daydreaming like state and I would begin to hear and see people call my name. It was awful.
I don't remember anything else after I got home.
I woke up the next morning in my bed and had brain fog for more than 4 days after. Haven't tried weed since.
