Anyone got their own personal HCs for the troupes genders/sexualities?
Yes, Yes, I know they're all canonically Pansexual, but does anyone have their own personal takes, regardless of cannon?

Does anyone else get unreasonably excited whenever the slightest bit of information is dropped about what they might look like because I might have a problem... That being said Harlequin with a soft stomach💚💚💚💚 Plus the hint that he may not actually have tentacles and it's instead something else have me foaming at the mouth.
Stole this from a "TFC confessions" blog on tumblr because I so fucking agree.
I've had people get upset when I remind them that Pierrot is not some morally blessed sweetheart who could never hurt anyone, I've also heard people complain when mention that Harlequin pushes MCs boundaries even if he won't actually pass them. (Pierrot probably would too tbh)
Why are people here getting upset over a dark game with mature things having, shockingly, dark and mature themes.
Look they're not real people so I understand the tendency to UwU-ify them but also: this is an adult game, you're getting adult themes, so shut the fuck up and enjoy it or leave. Sorry if that's mean, but it needed to be said.
Neko just posted this AMA response, to a question asking about the monsters anatomy and it immediately hooked me because what exactly does it mean extra or fewer limbs.
Extra makes sense. Considering Halrequins "ropes" and the potential tails/wings the circus members may have. But fewer? That intrigues me. All of the circus members seem pretty capable of mimicking a human shape through their costumes, they all seem to have legs and arms so how could one of them have less limbs than a human? They're clearly not missing anything.
Unless of course, we're talking about Ticket Taker. He seems to be the most human looking of the bunch from first glance, even being the one to give MC a pink ticket while illusioned as human, but what if some of some of his limbs are just that: an illusion. What he has and doesn't has yet to be revealed of course, but of all the monsters we've seen, I've noticed that in flashbacks, the bodies who are hidden the most are Ticket Taker's and Doctors.
In all of their flashback depictions, we never see either of them reaching out or standing wide legged like the other monsters. We get the least information about their shape. I personally think that TT may not have legs, which is funny if you consider that he's the only one with a brief walking animation. But that could be intentionally misleading. I think it's purposeful that in all the flashbacks we see, TT and doc are always shown with the least detail given. I think Doc is just the least human shaped, and that's why hiding him builds mystery. But TT? I think it's hiding his limbs, or lack thereof.
(Reuploaded because I messed up the first time)
I was scrolling through the official tumblr to try and collect evidence for a different theory when I came across this response to an ask. Two of the monster's are similar species huh??
Well, to start off we know it probably isn't doctor. He's the only one with a beak, and he seems to isolate himself even somewhat from the rest of the troupe. But as for the others, I went over their monster silhouettes and tried to find every similarity I could.
1st comparison: Ticket taker and Harlequin. I don't think for sure it's these two, but I thought it was worth mentioning that the only two monsters to have shown part of their faces openly; TT when in the cafe illusioned as a human, and Harlequin in his old costume that only wore a face mask. We also don't know what Harls "ability" is, so he very well could be some kind of illusionist like TT.
2nd comparison: Harlequin and Colombiana. This one I'm kinda leaning towards. Both have Digigrade legs that end with what look like hooves, both have horns that curve back, both are nearly the same hight (and age according to Neko), Colombiana may be hiding tendrils under her dress in her reflection.(Though we don't see anything else tendril like on her in any other depiction so...)
3rd comparison: Jester and Colombiana. I feel like i'm reaching but we see very little about BOTH their monster forms. One of the only things we CAN make out is their horns, which appear to be two small ones in front and possibly two larger ones in the back. I also wondered if her ability to give us a full on flashback in her mirror scene may allude to her also having mind-related abilities.
4th comparison: Jester and Ticket Taker. Not many similarities here besides their long limbs/confusing limbs. But both of them seem to have abilities that tie in with the mind, TT's being illusions and possibly mind reading, and Jester's being controlling the fools.
5th comparison: Jester and Pierrot. Probably the weakest. Nothing in game seems to tie them together physically, and the only similarities I could see were their feet and spikes/fur. We know very little about Jester of course, and we may very well have something revealed that changes this, but until then, I just don't see him being the same species as any of the cast. (besides potentially Colombiana, as again, we don't have much info on her either.)
If anyone has their own take PLEASE share it with me. I'm desperate to hear more theories about this game.
I CAN TOP PIEROOOOOOTTTTTT YEAAAAHHHGHHHHHH
This was just uploaded but I need reddit to be aware of it.
Also Jester being labeled Dominant but not Top..... I bet his ass likes to switch a lil
(Mods I tried not to make this auto set itself into an ama i'm sorry that it did that idk how to fix it )
OKAY, so we all know by now the basic idea between the three. Pierrot was in a relationship Colombiana, Harlequin was jealous of Pierrot. But is that actually true?
In Neko's ama, someone asks about Jester's opinion on their relationship, to which he replies with this.
This doesn't imply the same jealousy that Jester's story has. Infact, it kind of implies the opposite. That the three got along with eachother just fine, and that Harlequin's actions were more related to the human's than Pierrot.
Now, this made me re-think something. Jesters play in his tent- how much of it can we believe? Obviously it's not a one-to-one recreation of what happened, but how much of it is a lie? We know for a fact Harlequin was lying in his story about Colombiana being a willing sacrifice. We know this because of the "flashback" in her mirror tells us. It also tells us that Harlequin eats her not out of jealousy but desperation.
In Colombiana's mirror, we get an important fact I think most people missed.
She asks for Harlequin's help, not Pierrot's.
I think their relationship is much more complicated than what's been let on. Let's think about their namesakes, a Pierrot is typically a stock character, mostly known for sad love- Pinning for Colombiana, who typically chooses Harlequin over him.
Now we don't know how much this idea applies to the monsters. But having the three names be the same is very important. Did Pierrot and Colombiana actually ever have a romantic relationship? How much was Harlequin actually involved?
This brought me to think about the games planned endings. A solo ending, a bad ending, One with each Pierrot and Harlequin individually, and one with both them together. Now, this is a dating sim. It's not uncommon that players can't pick and want to date multiple characters at once. But I thought it was interesting that having both was always and intended option. For two characters who supposedly hate eachother, it's kinda funny that you can be with both of them at the same time isn't it?
Maybe that's because it happened before.
Here's what I've been leading up to say: I think that Harlequin, Pierrot, and Colombiana were all in a relationship together. It's implied that Pierrot and Harlequin's rocky relationship only started after what happened with Colombiana. So it's fully possible that the two were actually closer than first said. I think that's why their relationship is what it is now. Pierrot is heartbroken not just because the monster he loved was taken away from him, but because she was taken by someone else he also loved.
Harlequin is constantly antagonizing Pierrot, getting into his business and trying to court MC solely because he sees Pierrot's interest in them. I don't think this comes from a place of hate, I think it comes from desperation. He misses Pierrot, he can't spend time with him like they used to. Pierrot hasn't forgiven him and probably refuses to even acknowledge Harlequin in most cases. The only way Harlequin can get his attention is through fighting.
That's why he's constantly starting things with Pierrot, that's why he tries to court MC in the first place. Not because they caught his eye, but because he knows he'll get the other monster's attention that way. I think the 3 endings between them will be very complex. With Pierrot's route leaving Harlequin to be forgotten, Harlequin's route to be about moving on from the past, and their together route to be about forgiveness.
Of course, this is all just a theory. I'm grasping at straws here. But I figured I'd share it because I'm desperate to know what anyone else thinks and if my impression even makes sense. Please ya'll talk to me about this I'm going insane.
The last 3 images are all about the same ask, it was just too big to edit together.
Gay monster sex my favorite.
