I ask because back when I used to shoot heroin, you needed something like lemon juice in order to break it down for injection but when I made that comment on another sub recently someone replied to me saying that "Mexican tar just needs water but that there is some tar in Europe that does need an acid."

That got me thinking, the way that person specified that Mexican tar just needs water, is that because the tar that's coming from Mexico these days isn't actually heroin but fentanyl which is why it breaks down with water?

I'm in the US by the way and the black tar heroin that I used to shoot definitely needed an acid like lemon juice in order to be able to shoot it. It's been years since I last shot tar though so I don't know what the current product is on the streets these days.

I've been clean for 4 years but I've been scrolling that sub daily since like 2020 so I was really bummed out when I went to open it and saw the notification that reddit banned it for not having a moderator. Hopefully the folks who posted there will know to come to this sub now because this one wasn't active as the other sub but it's basically the same theme. I know there's probably specific subs for shooting meth but what made Addictedtotheneedle great was that it had users who shot all different kinds of things.
