MMX 155A with MengSha head

I'm no professional photographer, but I had a lot of fun trying out a few different outfits that I had laying around, plus one outfit that I got specifically to try to emulate the promotional pictures. Anyway, the unboxing!

The box arrived right on time, and was a bit smaller than I was expecting. My only doll up until this point was a torso doll, and the box reminded me a lot of that one in terms of size. It was MUCH heavier though, and I needed a hand truck to get it to my 3rd floor apartment. Once inside, I eagerly opened the box, stood her up, and put one of the heads and wigs on. That's right, I got two heads! MMX had a World Cup promotion that ended last month where you could get a second head, a bunch of upgrades, and a random cheerleader outfit, all for free. The fine print said that the new 155A body was excluded in this promotion, but the website I used allowed me to choose a second head without increasing the price of the order. Maybe the site was programmed wrong and they decided to honor it? Either way, I'm not complaining! The two heads I got were JiaMi and MengSha. The pictures I took swap between the heads and wigs with no rhyme or reason. I was just excited to try all the combinations.

How does it feel? Simply put, amazing! The dual layer vagina isn't just a gimmick, and it feels incredibly realistic. I don't have any good pictures of it in this photoset, but I may post some later. Also, the feel of the silicone is almost indistinguishable from my TPE torso doll. That being said, the extra soft silicone does have the same tackiness problem that TPE has. Even after a gentle wash with soapy water and giving her a cornstarch powdering, the tackiness returned after just a few hours. Still, probably a small price to pay for silicone that feels this good. I have used it a few times now, and the love holes show no sign of damage, aside from the paint splitting in high stress areas, but this is to be expected.

Now for the problems. Admittedly, this is probably a me problem, and not a problem with MMX. But when I was getting her out of a fairly tight top, I fucked up her shoulder really bad. the "shrug" joint got rotated out of alignment and it looked like her shoulder was dislocated. (I have a picture of it, but did not upload it here, for everyone's sake lol). I understand now that this is a fairly common problem with many shrugging dolls, though I wish I knew about it sooner. By following the seam lines on the good arm, I was able to somewhat fix the bad shoulder with a series of rotations, to the point where the silicone is no longer unnaturally twisted. But now that the shrugging joint has been broken free and loosened up a bit, it takes a lot of effort to move the arm without also moving that particular joint. Not the end of the world but certainly something to keep in mind.

All in all, I am very happy with this doll so far, and I look forward to sharing many more photo sets with her in the future.

So I decided to take the plunge last month and get my first full size doll after only having had a torso before. This particular body is also pretty new, so I know I'm taking a bit of a risk on it being an early adopter, but the price was right and I really liked what I saw! I haven't seen a lot of factory photos of her around, so thought I would contribute a few of the pictures they sent me. They also sent me a few video clips but I'm not sure how to share them.

When I ordered, MMX was having a promotion where you get a bunch of extra features for free, including a second head. The fine print specifically excluded the new 155A body, but the vendor I chose said they would honor it anyway, lucky me! And I was able to find a discount code online as well, so I really couldn't say no to the price considering what I was getting.

The first head you see her with is the one that's used in all the promotional shots, Jia Mi. The harsh factory lighting is giving her a much rougher look than in her promo shots, which is a little disappointing. But I'm hoping that will go away in more normal lighting. The other head is Meng Sha, who I just decided on a whim would also fit the body quite well, and I was right! She really steals the show away from Jia Mi if you ask me.

Really looking forward to giving a proper review when it comes in, which should be within a couple of weeks now if everything goes as planned!
