Roleplay Plot:

In a time of bronze and iron - the Eurusean Empire reigns supreme over the continent of Parvis. Its vast legions are spread throughout its many provinces, as the emperor's control is enforced through the many governors and generals acting as his will - while of course enacting their own desires and ambitions outside of his view. But within the central capital city of Farbanti, there lies the Grand Colosseum - where slaves are made to fight either monsters or each other.

Among these fighters is one particular gladiator who had known the life of slavery his whole life. Familiar only to the cruelty and violence made unto those unfortunate to be seen as less than a person.

But with spear and shield in hand, his purpose had been made as to entertain the masses in a vast display of gore and misery - a repeating pattern which sees to it that another life has ended by his hand.

Yet, even as he experiences the victories a gladiator ought to go for in order to live another day, the colosseum has its own rules regarding those with many victories. Asides from the subpar meals made for those who manage to survive the arena, close company is also provided to heal the ailments one experiences - pleasure slaves. As such, he would be granted his own company - whether a beautiful vixen or a twinkish feline.

A prize to rouse the morale of tired fighters.

In a time of swords and axes, the empire is on the brink of collapse. With the emperor now dead at his throne, his sons fight tooth and nail to succeed in power, all the while the nobility seek to make alliances or to plot their own agendas to take power. The empire finds itself in the midst of a great civil war as the lives of the citizens is soon caught in the torrent of violence.

But admist those who are to participate in the coming bloodshed, there are mercenaries who seek these conflicts out with profit in mind. One particular mercenary does this so he can earn enough to find an out of this lifestyle - to live in a place far from the conflict and politics following it. On the night he stops at a border town which serves as a checkpoint between two warring provinces, he decides to spend his night at the local brothel - to fill his stomach with food and drink, as well as to garner the company of a woman in bed.

It is here he meets a certain courtesan. Although a prostitute, she was once the daughter to a count who had long since been executed for supposed treason. After fleeing for her life, she spent her days hiding in this town, selling her body in exchange for food, shelter, and clothing - the allowance she earned simply being a bonus. But she was also capable of using healing magic, which she barely used in order to keep her identity hidden

That fateful night would see them both meeting and taking each other's company. When the town ends up being besieged, the mercenary would soon take her with him to safety... and thus their story would begin - a tale of two eventual lovers in a world that seeks to tear itself apart.

It had been a few years since Eevee left his hometown to attend college in the city of Pokopia. There, he had met a girl, dated for those few years, only to have been broken up with and left behind. The emotional shock of simply being dumped had weighed greatly over the eevee's shoulders as it was affecting his grades in college.

Eventually... He couldn't continue on, as he would drop out of college, soon deciding to return to his hometown.

It had been some years since he was last in his hometown of Evergreen, a countryside town nestled within the open fields along the eastern plains of the continent. He had mostly left because he wanted to leave the quiet life the town offered - not even thinking about what his family wanted for him. So when he does return home, he would have left a voice message:

"Hey... This is Eevee... I'm coming home."

The Jie Kingdom - a great militaristic empire in the world of Penglai - as well as home to the feared Jie Clan. In the 3000 year period which had been known as the Turbulent Era, an unending conflict kept the nine kingdoms from ever knowing peace. Armies were raised and filled, just as civilizations were born and slain. For a few millennia, the blood of innocence was shed, all for the glory of many sought in the battlefield - a landscape of horrid despair.

But in the 32nd Century of Penglai, the emperor of the Jie Kingdom, Jietong, had married a young woman from the Hua Clan - the priestess, Muse A. She had come to be known as the phoenix of Jie, as she rose to become his queen after her clan was decimated by his forces.

Meanwhile, hailing from the Kingdom of Xia, Muse A had founded the Fangshi Guild, a faction which rebelled against the tyranny of the Jie Kingdom.

On the night that the allied nations of Penglai banded together to end the war with the Jie Kingdom once and for all, Muse A, the emperor's seer, and the emperor himself had gathered within the palace. That night, it was clear the Jie Clan's reign and its goals to unite the world under its banner was coming to an end. Seeking to leave some mercy for his people, the emperor passed his authority on to his empress, wishing her her to he spared - as he would end up taking his own life - deciding to keep his honor as a warrior rather than being captured.

Following his death, Muse A and her now appointed seer were captured, but she would soon be met by Muse B, who saw she was different from the emperor. Deciding it was best to cooperate than punish her for her relations with the emperor, a truce would be made in which she would lead the Jie Clan as a representative amongst the nine kingdoms.

Little would they both know however that fate would have brought them together. A fate which dictates the world being rebuilt through the unification of two turbulent souls.

Liwen was once a dedicated scientist and technician working for Arasaka back before she had to leave the corporate life. Her husband, Lijing, was also a scientist - to which they both shared the same interests and dreams - to be able to explore the stars further beyond the reaches of the solar system. They would have worked on satellite systems, drones meant for space exploration, as well as other things that they could consider to be small projects.

It wasn't until one day that they learned that their research would be applied for military use against corporations such as Militech.

Horrified by this revelation and fearing that this would bring about yet another Corporate War or worse... They chose to make the hardest decisions of their lives - destroy their research and escape from Arasaka. They'd made efforts to halt any progress and before the executives could send someone to check on their research, they'd set a trap rigged to destroy the lab.

Liwen and her husband would have soon tried to escape. While she was lucky enough to get away, her husband had stayed behind so she could escape. A quick skirmish ensued, leading to her husband's death.

Days to weeks would have passed for Liwen as she mourned her husband. She had an old friend she once knew who would have managed to convince the Mox to shelter her and her son in one of their safe havens. Ever since then, she had lived in hiding, tending to stay low.

Nowadays, she herself works as a joytoy.

Typically, she uses her technical skills to usually fix up some BDs or help out in dealing with whatever technical issues the Mox might be having. But she is also privy to engaging in sex work herself.

Meanwhile, her son would usually stay at home, being looked after by her landlord who is aware of her situation.

In the end - she has managed to survive the corporate life... But at what cost?

So yeah, been wanting to play her for a cyberpunk roleplay for a while now. In a sense, there'll be a lot of prostitution elements, but she is also a netrunner, so she would also help out with working in heists at times too.

Now since this is set in the Cyberpunk universe, I would at least expect you to know some of the lore (I wouldnt expect anyone to know all of it since we're talking about the table top rpg from the 80s, but if you do know then you've got my respect lol)

So yeah, just looking to do some Cyberpunk themed roleplays - Started replaying the game after hearing Edgerunners was getting a season two (very stoked about that.) But in any case, I am open to coming up with whatever plots sound good.

Now, while I did have some ideas - I am interested in seeing what we can come up with. Some baseline ideas I had will be below:

\- In the corporate world, only the strong thrive whilst the weak are left to suffer in the shadows. Very few can survive in the corporate environment and even fewer can survive escaping it. After the heir to one such corporation manages to survive a coup that results in their father being killed and them being framed for his death, the heir would find themselves on the run - barely surviving a hit placed on them. They'd find themselves stranded within Night City, soon finding themselves forced to live in the underworld, where someone unexpected would soon take them under their wing and introduce them to a new life of opportunities

\- In Night City, those who live on the streets know that life is not so simple as one would thing. One day, you could be making a good living off a successful job paying good eddies and the next? You find yourself laying on the ground in a pool of your own blood. Mercenaries for hire always live on the edge of danger... No matter how safe they play it out.

\- As a nomad, one knows that life is a very sacred thing to live by. Freedom. Honor. Integrity. These are values that one must live by, especially when they are part of a Nomad Clan. After the Snake Nation destroyed one such nomad's clan for refusing to join, they'd end up becoming a drifter - a person with no place to return. So when they'd heard about the opportunities of Night City, how could they possibly turn that down?

These are just some ideas I had for backgrounds, but I am completely open to coming up with new plots. Generally, I am looking for more story than smut, but I would say I am looking to do around 60/40 - Mostly story, but plenty of smut in between.
