Before and After

2 weeks post op (trim method)… still swelling around the clitoral hood but couldn’t be happier with the result!

Experiencing some slight wound separation and scalloping at the moment but excited to see where we end up… recovery process was brutal but worth it.

Labiaplasty - Wound separation

Hey guys,

About 2.5 weeks ago I had a Labiaplasty using the trim method. There was some crazy bleeding the first day (uncommon) and i had extreme swelling and bruising for the first week and a half which I was assured was normal but looks entirely different from everyone else on here I’ve seen.

Recently it’s been night and day! All the swelling is gone and generally I’m happy with the result aesthetically and it feels totally normal again. However, as the stitches have started to dissolved and come out I’ve noticed some wound separation.

The pictures don’t really show the extent of it, it’s small infrequent holes on the right side which I’m not overly concerned about and one long separation (approx 1cm) down my left side which I’m concerned won’t heal. You can see the stitch coming from the bottom of the labia in the photo.

The catch is, I work on a ship and I’m currently at sea with no access to a hospital for an in person check up. I’ve emailed my doctor for her advice, but really need some advice from you’s to put my mind at ease if you think this will heal on its own or not.

I’ve included a resting image and a pulling image to show the separation, I’ll stop touching it now the image is taken.

Thanks in advance
