Locktober Advice | Cage, Training and Self Control

Hi all! I’m looking for some advice in order to enjoy locktober this year. I’ve wanted to partake in locktober for the past few years, but there’s always been something that’s stopped me. This year however, I want to really give it a go, so I’m looking to prepare now.

Couple of immediate disclaimers - up till now, I haven’t worn my cage for longer than a day. This is for couple of reasons… The biggest being that my current cage isn’t comfortable enough for extended wear. It rubs quite a bit after a few hours, and I’m concerned about sleeping in it because of this. The other reason is that I have really bad self control when it comes to playing in my cage; something I know I need to work on.

I’d appreciate any advice from those of you with more experience being locked - what should I be looking for when purchasing a cage for long term wear, and how can I put steps in place to help my self control? Also, what training could I do between now and locktober to prepare for the month? Diving straight into a month when I haven’t gone longer than a day is unrealistic, but if I can build a training schedule from now, I’m hoping I have a decent chance at succeeding this year 🤞

Thank you in advance for any advice 🩷
