August 25, 2026 / NTV — NTV's website reported that a man described as the leader of a Tokuryuu gang and a female AV actress were arrested on suspicion of possessing cocaine in a hotel room in Toshima Ward, Tokyo.

The two were arrested for violating the Narcotics Control Act: Shota Tsukawara, 32, a senior member of a Yamaguchi-gumi-affiliated yakuza group from the sixth generation, and Seika Abe, 27, an AV actress who performs under the stage name Shin Serena.

The two are suspected of possessing approximately 0.7 grams of cocaine in a hotel room in Toshima Ward at around 2:00 a.m. on July 14, 2026, and of using cocaine at the location.

Tsukawara is believed to be the leader of an anonymous, mobile criminal group known as a Tokuryuu. He had previously been arrested on suspicion of fraud and attempted robbery.

During the investigation, police discovered that Tsukawara frequently entered and left hotels in Toshima Ward. When officers entered a hotel room to arrest him on suspicion of fraud, they found Tsukawara and Abe (Shin Serena) in bed together.

During the search, bags containing cocaine were found hidden in the bed linens and on the bedside table.

The two suspects, who are believed to have used cocaine, are acquaintances and reportedly met several times at the hotel.

During questioning, Tsukawara admitted to using cocaine, saying, "So what? What's wrong with that?" Abe (Shin Serena), however, denied the allegations, stating, "I didn’t use it."

Police are continuing to investigate whether Tsukawara used money obtained through fraud to purchase drugs and whether he repeatedly used cocaine at hotels in Toshima Ward.

As for Shin Serena, she entered the AV industry in 2021 with SOD, under the name Momo Aoki, as a former competitive swimmer who is 170 cm tall. She subsequently performed under several other names, including Serina Asahi, Momo Sakurada, and Serina Tsutsumi, before adopting her current stage name.

Although the case may appear to be simply a drug-related arrest involving an individual AV actress who had an intimate relationship with a yakuza member, the report is also likely to bring renewed attention to long-standing rumors about connections between the yakuza and the AV industry.

"Today, August 19, marks my 6th anniversary.

To all of you whom I love dearly and who have always supported me, I have an announcement to make at this time.

With the release of my work on September 22, I have decided to take a break from my activities for a while.

The reason is a little long. When I debuted, I decided that I would give it my all for five years, and I thought I would retire at the age of 30, which would also mark five years since my debut. But as I kept thinking, 'Just a little longer, just a little longer,' six years had already passed.

However, during that time, my motivation toward filming my works gradually declined, and I began thinking about retiring because I felt that, if I continued like this, I wouldn't be able to enjoy filming anymore.

Then, the makeup artist who has been taking care of me ever since my debut told me:

'You don't have to retire. Why don't you take a little break and come back? Wouldn't that be okay?'

Hearing that made me start considering taking a break rather than retiring.

After deciding to take a break, I approached the works I filmed with the feeling that I wanted to make just a few more, and I think it was really fun because I felt that I was able to film nothing but very good works.

Rather than continuing to film mediocre works one after another, I think it would be better to take a little break and then film again when I feel, 'I want to film again!'

I am deeply grateful to the producer at S1 and everyone at my agency who encouraged me by telling me, 'You can always come back!'

I haven't decided on a specific time period, and I don't know when I will resume filming. But when the day comes that I think, 'I want to film again!', and I resume filming, I want to come back as an even more powerful Nanatsumori Riri than I am now.

Until then, I would be very happy if you could enjoy lots of my past works.

Events and other activities are still scheduled to continue, so there won't be any release events for a while, but I would be happy if you came to see me
