I have roleplayed since I was a kid, I have lots of writing experience in various formats but the one I miss the most? Is the everyday chatter of two individuals. I had a dedicated roleplay partner for over 10 years and sadly our friendship as well as our roleplay ended due to the real world. Now, I sorta want back what I had before. So here’s where I’ll explain.
Picture this, Modern Day. City life. Beautiful people, even more beautiful arcitecture. Well, not everything is so perfect perhaps. Beneath the perfect features of some lie the hideous secrets of lives left untold. Creatures, Freaks even. Demons, Vampires, even Ghosts could be walking right beside you while you jog to work, the very same guy in front of you in line at a coffee shop? Even the barista. But nobody knows.. do they? That creatures like these are more than myth, more than legend. That the doctor who prescribed you antibotics for your sinus infection was in fact the very same woman that haunts the very dark depths of your fantasies, the demon that seduces you in your dreams. Things only seem to get worse as strange new people begin to appear, people who seem even more strange. People who cannot exactly place what here even is.. and how they ended up somewhere so far from home. People who simply.. don’t belong in this universe at all..
Doesn’t this sound fun? I miss the freedom of just doing whatever! Sure I love a good plot and this can have that. But this brings in all the freedoms of being.. creative!
