If you encounter moderators or sellers abusing their privileges, evading sitewide bans, or running paid content schemes under unfair conditions, do not engage directly. Instead, document the behavior and use official Reddit reporting channels.

How to Report Misconduct & Rule Violations

1. Reporting Moderator Code of Conduct Violations

If a moderator uses mod privileges to engage in commercial abuse, harassment, or intentional manipulation:

Submit a ticket directly via the official Reddit Moderator Code of Conduct Form.

Select Report a Moderator Code of Conduct violation, submit permalinks showing the behavior, and provide factual context.

2. Reporting Ban Evasion, Harassment, or Spam
If an individual is creating alt accounts to get around previous bans:

Visit reddit.com/report.
Select I want to report spam or abuse -> Ban Evasion (or Harassment).

Attach direct links to the relevant posts, comments, or suspected alt accounts.

3. Reporting Rule-Breaking Subreddits

Reddit admins review communities based on specific patterns of rule violations rather than general complaints:

Flag individual rule-breaking posts using the native Report button under each post/comment.

Collect 3–5 direct permalinks of clear sitewide rule violations and attach them to a report via reddit.com/report.

Important Guidelines

Gather Evidence: Take unedited screenshots and copy direct permalinks before content is deleted.

Focus on Facts: State exactly which sitewide rules were broken (e.g., Ban Evasion, Harassment, Spam, Commercial Abuse).
