No single males over 50, huh?

Hi everyone, got a couple of questions. I'm 53, reasonably fit for my age, have manners and am quite able to hold a conversation. I'm interested in the swinging lifestyle and have some(private settings) previous experience, but not at the clubs and parties in S.E. Queensland I've been looking into. What I have noticed is an apparent age bias at SEQs parties, which state no single males over 50 at their events. What I don't understand is why? There is apparently no age limit on Women, or men over 50 in couples, so why single-out single men who are in this category? Doesn't seem very 'inclusive' in an age where that is the buzzword..

I've read about those creepy single guys that put people off. Like the ones that don't understand manners or respect people's wishes and boundaries, or the one's who can't read the room or be respectful. I'm a grown man with a life's learning behind me, these aren't behaviours that I exhibit, I'd also like to think that I'm 'not dead yet' and as such capable of giving and receiving pleasurable experiences.

So is my age going to prevent me from being accepted in the 'scene', or is this just discimination practiced by certain groups and clubs? I'd appreciate some (preferably) friendly advice on if I'll be accepted and where to look for clubs, groups or parties who will accept me? Or whether I should just accept I'm not 'welcome'. Thanks everyone
