Confession: I downloaded Tinder because I was bored.
I was away from home for work.
Married. Bored. Restless.
What started as mindless swiping in a hotel room, just looking for a little distraction, quickly turned into a conversation I couldn't walk away from. We clicked instantly. One message became fifty. Then came the flirting. Then the pictures. Then the temptation became impossible to ignore.
A few hours later, he was knocking on my hotel door.
I expected a fun distraction.
Instead, I had one of the most intense and memorable nights of my life. The kind that leaves you lying awake afterwards, staring at the ceiling with a stupid smile on your face, wondering how something so unexpected could feel so natural.
For those hours, I forgot everything outside that room. My routine. My responsibilities. Even my marriage faded into the background for a little while.
I flew home convinced it would stay a one-night mistake.
It didn't.
We never really stopped talking. Somehow, one night turned into regular chats, shared memories, and eventually me looking for any excuse to see him again.
