Deep Grip method demonstration

Hi Fellow Restorers

A few weeks ago I shared a long post in r/Foreskin_Restoration about the Deep Grip Method.

I genuinely believe this technique has many advantages, and I think more people should know about it.

This time, instead of another long technical post, I thought I'd simply share the demonstration video. Sometimes seeing the technique in action is much easier than reading a detailed explanation.

If you're interested in the theory behind it, why it works, and some practical tips, I've also put together a dedicated page that goes into much more detail.

New Flow Grippers are now available

One thing I've learned over the years is that there isn't a "perfect" gripper, simply because not everyone restores the same way. Some people restore with low tension for 12 hours a day. Others prefer stronger tension in shorter sessions. Some have sensitive skin, while others simply want the strongest grip possible. Some have a thin skin while others have a thicker type. The variables are endless!

That's exactly why I decided to create three different Flow Grippers instead of trying to make one gripper that fits everyone.

Soft Gripper
Designed for maximum comfort. Ideal for low to moderate tension, long uninterrupted sessions, and users with sensitive skin. The tradeoff is a slightly lighter grip under higher tension.

Balanced Gripper
The all-around option, the default gripper included with every Mantor Flow. It offers an excellent balance between comfort and grip, making it the best choice for everyday use and most users.

Firm Gripper
Designed for maximum grip strength. Perfect for higher tension, weights, straps, or anyone who wants to minimize slippage. The firmer silicone provides a stronger grip but may feel less comfortable during long sessions.

Whichever restoration style you prefer, there's now a gripper designed to match it.

The new grippers are now available individually, so you can easily add one or more to your current Mantor Flow setup. And if you don't already own a Mantor Flow, you can now choose your preferred gripper type directly on the product page when placing your order.

Finally, a little sneak peek at what I'm working on next...

My next goal is to develop a Flow version specifically for very tight circumcisions (CI-0), for people who currently don't have enough skin to use existing devices but also can't, or simply don't want to, use T-tape or manual methods.

I believe this could help many people overcome that first barrier and make restoration accessible to those who have wanted to start but simply haven't had a practical option.

As always, thank you for your ideas, feedback, and support. Many of the improvements I make begin as conversations with this community and for that I'm grateful to be part of this growing (in more than one way) movement.

Mantor Flow available for donation (Austria/Germany preferred)

Hi everyone,

I have a client who wants to return their Mantor Flow. Instead of having them ship it back to me, I'd much rather see it go to someone who can benefit from it.

The device is completely free, and my client will also cover the shipping costs.

If you're a student or anyone else who's struggling financially and would really like a restoration device, this is your opportunity. Preference will be given to someone located in Austria or Germany to keep shipping simple and affordable for my client.

The device is a used Mantor Flow. It is size B (38 mm+ glans width), with size 5 tubing, which is generally intended for those who are well advanced in their restoration journey (around CI-8 or higher).

The width is the critical measurement and should match your anatomy. The tubing length is much less important, you don't have to be at CI-8 to use it. If you're at a lower CI level, the tubing will simply extend farther, or you can easily trim it to a shorter length.

I have no way of verifying who needs it most, so I'm simply trusting the honesty of this community.

To check whether this size is right for you, visit:

https://www.mantor-restorer.com/product/mantor-flow/

Scroll down until you see the "Find My Size" button and take the measurements. If the size fits you, please send me a direct message. Preference will be given to recipients in Austria or Germany due to shipping costs and convenience.

I'd love to make this a regular tradition. Rather than letting returned devices go to waste, I'll continue offering them here whenever I receive them, so they can help someone else. If you don't qualify for this one, there will hopefully be more opportunities in the future.

All the best and

Deep Grip Explained: Increase Your Stretching Range

Hi everyone,

One of the questions I see over and over again is:

How do I target more inner skin?
How do I target more outer skin?
Which methods are best, and can they be combined?

The truth is, there isn't just one correct approach.

For example, weights and tugging straps are generally known for placing more emphasis on outer (shaft) skin.

Inflation primarily targets inner skin.

What about dual tension (bidirectional) devices?

While they typically place most of the tension on the inner skin, the way you apply the device can dramatically change how that tension is distributed.

With one simple technique, you can involve significantly more outer (shaft) skin in the stretch, regardless of which dual tension device you're using.

Almost six years ago, I introduced this technique and called it Deep Grip.

Lately, however, I've been seeing more and more questions about different tension methods, so I thought it would be a good time to revisit the topic.

In my opinion, learning how to apply a proper Deep Grip is one of the most valuable skills you can develop.

So let's dive in.

(If you'd rather skip the reading, you can simply click here to watch an NSFW video where a real person demonstrates the Deep Grip technique step by step)

What is Deep Grip?

The idea is actually very simple.

Instead of simply rolling the skin over the gripper, you intentionally pull the skin farther forward before securing it.

This makes the gripper grip the shaft skin closer to the scrotum.

As a result, once tension is applied, a larger area of skin becomes part of the stretching zone.

See the drawing below:

https://preview.redd.it/kbsnajmy1feh1.jpg?width=1440&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=2d00563662289239ba943d59a360ada6cc59d809

Advantages:

1. More outer skin under tension

One of the biggest advantages of Deep Grip is that it increases the amount of shaft (outer) skin involved in the stretch.

Many people ask how they can put more emphasis on outer skin without switching devices.

Deep Grip is one of the simplest ways to do exactly that, alongside weights and tugging straps.

Since tissue expansion occurs where tension is applied, increasing the amount of skin being stretched means a larger area is receiving that stimulus.

2. A much larger elastic working range

This is probably my favorite benefit.

Imagine two office rubber bands.

A small rubber band becomes tight quickly. It only stretches a short distance before it reaches its limit.

A larger rubber band stretches much farther while remaining soft, flexible, and elastic.

Deep Grip creates a very similar effect.

Because more skin is captured under the gripper, you create a much larger elastic working range before the tissue reaches excessive tension.

Instead of going almost immediately from "not enough tension" to "too much tension," you now have a much wider sweet spot where the tension remains both effective and comfortable.

That makes it much easier to fine-tune your tension level and maintain longer, more comfortable sessions.

3. Less stress on the frenulum and inner skin

This benefit is actually a direct result of the previous one.

With a conventional application, the frenulum (or what remains of it after circumcision) often ends up sitting close to the edge of the gripper.

As tension increases, that delicate area can become overstretched surprisingly quickly.

At best, it shortens your session. At worst, repeated stress can cause irritation or small skin injuries around the frenulum.

Deep Grip creates a much larger elastic buffer.

Instead of concentrating the force near the frenulum, the tension is distributed across a much larger area of skin.

For many people, this makes long sessions significantly more comfortable while reducing unnecessary stress on the frenulum and inner foreskin.

Making Deep Grip Practical

One of the biggest reasons many people don't use the Deep Grip technique consistently isn't because it doesn't work, it's because it can be difficult to apply.

Gripping the skin deeper along the shaft takes more time and precision than simply rolling the skin onto the gripper.

With earlier designs, including the Mantor DS, achieving a true Deep Grip was definitely possible, but it often required extra effort. Because the pusher and gripper were connected by a slim rod, there wasn't much support for the skin during application. After gripping the skin, you would often need to work the pusher forward gradually, sometimes moving it back and forth several times, until it reached the desired stretching position.

When I designed the Mantor Flow, one of my main goals was to make the Deep Grip technique practical enough for everyday use.

Unlike a narrow rod, its wider diameter tube supports the skin throughout the application process, allowing it to glide smoothly over the tube as you pull it forward to the pre-positioned gripper.

The result is a Deep Grip application that is significantly faster, easier, and more consistent, making it much more practical to use on a daily basis.

And because Mantor Flow can be worn without removing it for urination, you don't have to repeat the entire Deep Grip application every time you visit the bathroom. Once you've achieved a good Deep Grip, you can simply continue your session.

See It in Action

The Deep Grip technique is much easier to understand when you see it performed.

Here's a link to an NSFW real person demonstration that shows the complete application process step by step, making it easy to replicate and incorporate into your own routine.

To Conclude:

Deep Grip isn't about applying more tension.

It's about putting more skin to work, distributing the stretch more efficiently, and making that tension more comfortable, more controllable, and more sustainable over long sessions.

No matter which dual tension device you use, improving your technique is often one of the easiest ways to improve your overall results.

Now I'm curious...

How many of you are already using the Deep Grip technique?

Have you noticed a difference in comfort, session length, grip stability, or the amount of skin under tension?

If you've developed your own tricks for achieving a better Deep Grip, I'd love to hear them and I'm sure others in the community would benefit as well.

Mantor Flow Guide

Hi everyone!

Quite a few Mantor Flow users have asked me what the best way is to pee while wearing the device. There are several ways to do it, but after plenty of testing, this is the method I've found to be the easiest, quickest, and most reliable.

I'll break it down into four parts:

  1. Putting on the device
  2. Peeing while wearing it
  3. Draining the remaining urine
  4. Cleaning and maintenance

1. Putting on the device

When putting on the Mantor Flow, make sure your urethral opening is centered with the opening in the tube. If it's off-center, urine flow will naturally be restricted.

Note: If you don't plan to pee while wearing the device, you can use the Flow Plug included with your kit, it can enhance comfort on the glans.

2. Peeing while wearing the device

When nature calls, there's one important step:

Before you start peeing, reduce the tension almost completely and leave the gripper's tension dial unlocked (pressed to open) so it can slide freely on the tube.

Hold the gripper with one hand and the tube with the other, then begin urinating.

The goal is to maintain a delicate balance:

Don't let the device put pressure on the urethra, so urine can flow freely.

At the same time, keep the glans gently sealed against the end of the tube (the pusher) to prevent leaks.

This helps avoid the two most common issues:

Weak or restricted flow: Usually caused by too much tension or pressure on the glans.

Leaks around the gripper: Usually caused by the pusher losing contact with the glans, breaking the seal.

3. Draining the remaining urine

When you're finished, a small amount of urine will usually remain inside the tube.

First, gently jerk the tube back and forth once or twice to help drain most of it.

To remove the last few drops, gently pull the tube slightly away from your body until the glans briefly separates from the pusher. As soon as the seal breaks, air enters the tube and the remaining urine drains out.

Keep this separation brief, just long enough to drain the tube.

Keeping the gripper unlocked and the tube free to slide, gives you full control with both hands, making it easy to find the perfect balance between a good seal and unrestricted flow.

4. Cleaning and maintenance

Any device that's used for urination will eventually develop an odor if it's not cleaned regularly.

Fortunately, keeping the Mantor Flow fresh is easy.

At the end of your day:

  • Remove the Tension Dial (the top assembly that locks and unlocks the gripper).
  • Fill a container with warm soapy water.
  • Soak the Mantor Flow overnight.
  • In the morning, rinse thoroughly with warm water, dry it, and you're ready for another day of stretching with a fresh-smelling device.

You can find more tips and detailed instructions in the Mantor Flow User Guide. I'll also be adding more photos soon to better demonstrate the urination process.

As always, I'd love to hear your feedback.

Did this guide help?

Have you found a different method that works well for you?

Or if you'd just like to share your overall experience with the Mantor Flow, I'd love to hear it!
