~ Plot: While visiting a tavern on your travels you overhear a few treasure hunters discussing parts of the land that have been rumored to have riches beyond one’s imagination. As they finish their drinks you notice that one of them left behind a piece of parchment that happens to have the exact location of the area of the land they were talking about. Just your luck you think! You equip your best leather gear and the small pieces of equipment you have on your person and go on your way. Unfortunately you didn’t hear the beginning of their conversation. This Forrest, swamp, cave riddled area is one of the most dangerous parts of these lands. Plenty of hungry creatures lurk in this area. Hopefully your treasure Hunter skills will save you.~

I have multiple creatures l'd like to play around with. Tension is one of my favorite parts of roleplay. The build up to when the prey find themselves feeling uneasy, then realizing what they're being stalked by, all the way up to being chased and captured only to get taken to the lair of the creature and swallowed up. Some are anthro and others aren’t.

~As Tajah ran through the bright red door practically toppling it over using her full body weight, she couldn't stop from almost running into the brick wall in front of her. Quickly her wide eyes darted from side to side only to see some moonlight hitting a field on her right. The alcohol in her system caused her to feel a bit disorganized and disoriented. Instead of taking a pause she pressed both palms against the brick wall as she made contact and pushed herself off using the momentum of her sprint just a second ago and barreled through the dark dingy alleyway.~

~"What was that thing" she thought to herself. No, she knew what it was and she didn't want to pretend she didn't just to protect her already diminishing mental state. As she approached the field there was a fence that before getting to the end of the alley was something she didn't see or anticipate. Mustering all her strength combined with the adrenaline pushing through her body, she started to climb. Frantically grasping each part of the chain link fence until she got to the top. As she tried to descend Tajah managed to get her pants stuck on one of the protruding pieces of galvanized steel.~

~The action of trying to descend combined with getting stuck caused her to be suspended for a moment only to then come crashing down onto the grassy field. All at once the wind was knocked out of her and she pawed away at the air/field around her gasping loudly. Doing her best to get all her air back in she hears a noise akin to wind cutting through the air. She stumbles a few feet feeling her body ache and a light sweat start to form as she dragged her feet as best as she could. The street lights were far off back towards the alleyway which left the moon to be the single source of light. Tajah picked up her head looking straight ahead of her to see that the tree line of the woods was ahead. Could she hide in the woods or would that hasten her being found.~

~Then the reality of what being caught could mean set in. What would be done to her? Tajah didn't have long to dwell on those words for as she started to think that she lost her footing falling over eating dirt yet again. As she got on her back using her arms to prop herself up, the silhouette of a woman appeared before her. The color drained from her skin. Tajah's eyes became wider than they had before.~

"S-s-stay away from me! D...don't come any closer!"

~Despite doing her best to sound intimidating the figure didn't listen to her demands. Slowly but surely the light started to reveal the skin of the figure. The dark blood red eyes became visible which pierced Tajah's body. The figured mouth came into view revealing a wide toothy grin. Tajah pleaded instead of demanding now.~

"P...please stay back. Don't hurt me..."

~The pleas had no effect on the figure. As each step was taken, Tajah tried to move but her body was freezing up on her. Her fight, freeze, or flight senses had taken over. Her body had chosen freeze. Tajah was a deer in headlights at this point. Her lower lip quivering which seemed to fill the thing before her with happiness or some sick sort of enjoyment as Tajah heard a distinct giggle. Tajah had one last thing to say in this moment as a response to the giggling.~

"I know what you are! You're...you're...you're a-!"
