The nearest resorts to me are ashdene and sun valley club, I'm roughly in the centre between the two. I dont consider myself a naturist, I'm just naked when there is no need for clothes, so at home, or the beach on holiday. I've not long come away from a long relationship where nudity by the ex was deep seeded as sexual so that was that really, now I have a little freedom again I'd really like to visit a club, I think my new girlfriend would be willing to visit but that's still a discussion to be had. Would be nice to just go somewhere and relax for a day or 2, catch an actual tan or swim without having to take home a soggy bag of clothing, which I guess a resort is the only real place you can in the UK without the risk of being reported or offending somebody. I've been to a few clothing optional beaches in spain and the canary islands. Has anybody been to either of the two and can recommend either or? I'm also tattooed and have a couple piercings.. one been "below the waist" which my take Is it should be as any other piercing but I note some places frown on genital piercings which seems strange to me. I guess having never been to a resort I dont know what to expect .

So many labels ... what exactly is a nudists and the difference between that and a naturist. Then I see "home nudist" thrown around a lot For me ... I'm dressed when I need to be and when appropriate, if I'm at home I'm naked, because I have no need to be clothed. If I go on holiday I will seek out a clothing optional beach because why do I want tan lines or to take back soggy shorts? I dont consider myself a nudist at all, I would, living in the UK like the space to venture out and relax clothes free because I dont particularly find comfort in clothing, however despite the thought of going to a nudist resort to sunbathe, swim or take a stroll I never have as looking into it, as a single Male visitor these the whole suspicuousness, that and I'm tattooed quite heavily and pierced, which yes I can remove that but feel shouldn't have to

I dont really understand all the labels, in days gone by we would have bathed publicly naked, swam naked, visited a beach naked, now it feels like you need to have a label attachedor be part of a group
