The Worst Part About Andre's Method

...going to the men's restroom 5 times a day at work means I constantly have to suffer the contents of my coworkers bowels. Jesus, guys, google "fiber"!

Sorry, just wanted to share some humour that came to me while tugging and gagging on my bosses' strench. Why don't they make earbuds for your sense of smell?

But seriously, I'm not even 3 months in and seeing incredible results. It's been an extremely tough road, but I appreciate everyone here and everyone's support. This is a beautiful community doing a beautiful thing, and I hope everyone here achieves their goals quickly and finds the peace they deserve.

What would you do in this situation?

Hey brothers!
Hope you are staying strong and keepin' on tuggin'

I'm hoping to get some advice and thoughts on where I'm at, what I've got left, and where I should go from here.

I've created an (NSFW!) post on the (NSFW!) r/restoringdick sub:>WARNING NSFW LINK WARNING NSFW!<and I'm hoping I can please plead for some help analyzing what damage has been done to me, what structure(s) I have left (especially frenulum), and what you would do in my shoes.

I have a skin bridge on my ventral side that is quite brutal, and I don't know how much frenulum, if any, I might have left - I fear most of it, if there's any left, is either just part of the skin bridge, or buried underneath it.

Finally, what areas would you target with the highest priority if you were in my shoes? My cut is very uneven and the ventral side has quite alot of loose skin but it is very disorganized.

Thanks legends - I love this community and the folks in it. Your positivity and camaraderie gives me the strength to keep soldering on <3

Get a Grip

Hey fellow restorers
I hope your tugging is going well today

I've been noticing lately that I've sometimes had trouble gripping my skin properly when using manual methods. I feel like if either my hands or my dick are even moderately oily they slowwwwwwly slide while trying to tug and I cant get as good of a "burn" going.

Do you experienced fellas have any wisdom to share for improving your grip? Particularly when I'm at work going stealth in the men's restroom, I wont have access to much.

I've been pondering either like a powdered/latex glove to keep in my pocket, or possibly something like hand sanitizer or something to try and dry my hands out a bit... but both of those seem fraught with their own problems.......

Thoughts?

High vs Low - which is worse? ELI5 please

TW: I'm trying to better understand the ravages of what's done to us, so I can better target my restoration efforts

Can someone please ELI5 to me which is worse, a high or low cut? They're both awful, so I'm phrasing this strictly in terms of which causes even MORE damge.

From what I can tell, the "high" cut is further away from the glans, and the "low" cut is closer to the glans.

(I find it really, really telling how little bodily autonomy we have [none] over our bodies as men when these are named the way they are - it's not high from our perspective, it's high from the perspective of the person who actually owns our penis: everyone else)

But multiple sources I've read describe the low cut as being more damaging, with more nerves & (inner?) foreskin removed. Can someone please help me understand this? Why wouldn't a high cut, which is further down the shaft from the glans, and presumably thus involves removing even more flesh, not be worse? I simply can't wrap my head around why removing more flesh is somehow not as damaging- what am I missing here?

Thanks fellas

Setbacks

The good news: I can already see visible gains within only a week of restarting my restoration journey. Insane. Incredibly motivating and heartening. I'm determined to see this through.

The bad news: I've been a little too enthusiastic and injured myself. Not bad, but the skin was definitely tender and sore. Made clothing even more unbearable than usual. Frustrating.

I feel like a star athlete being forced to sit on bedrest while everyone else is getting ready for the big championship.

How long do you guys usually take a break for when this happens? I'm dying to get back in the game, coach!

It sucks because restoring has been so motivating... every tug session is a giant middle finger to the monsters who did this to me and the psychopaths who support and fetishize it.

I've been really trying to embrace the mental pain and harness it into motivation. Has anyone had any success with therapy in this? I've tried before but found they didn't really seem to 'get' it. Can anyone recommend a therapist that actually understands what we're dealing with and has some specialization in it? I'm in Australia but for the right person willing to phone consult/telehealth I'll make any time zone work.

Trying to stay strong, wish me luck yall ❤️

When (If ever) did you introduce devices?

Hi all
I restored for about a year using manual methods (mainly Method #2, with a bit of targeted dorsal Method #3) 10 years ago before I got with my abusive ex who stopped me from restoring. A lifetime of traumas later, I'm free now to begin restoring again.

I'd like to post progress pics and ask for a hand determining where I'm at... and where I should go next- but the pics sub won't let me post until I've been posting here first, apparently. So unfortunately I won't be able to provide any visual context to this query.

That said, I'm nervous about devices, and I'm unsure of when the ideal time (if any) is to introduce them. Am I far-along enough to do so?

Anyone keen to share when they switched from manual-only methods to using devices? What was your experience like? Did you notice a difference in the pace of progress?

Cheers mates
