I’m 19 and got my first packer from the queer trans project which has been fucking awesome. My dinky makeshift ones never relieved my dysphoria very well and I’ve been wearing it all the time except to clean it.

This might be a stupid question, but it would be hard for me to get a new one so I want to ask. I’m relatively active and as said before have been wearing it all the time. How durable is a basic one and how long are they expected to last? General tips for taking care of it are also appreciated :)
