This weather!
Terrible! Makes you wonder if the summer is already over. Going to assume that even tho it’s climbing to a decent temperature today and tomorrow, the beach will be a mess from 48 hours of rain.

Nice day
…but man is the beach tiny! I guess this has to do with the tides but also the water level just remains crazy high.
Flies are still a bit of an issue, but the slight breeze is keeping them at bay.

Another beautiful day
Anyone heading down today? Will probably pop down for some quick sun around noon. Hopefully see some folks. I gotta say as a newcomer this year, this beach is quite addictive!

Had a great visit today - lots of folks out and everyone seemed quite chill. Even, gasp, a single woman (with her dogs) and she also seemed to be chilling without any bother. Maybe the early afternoon crowd is there for different reasons?
In any case, I met John - an older guy who I'm sure is not on here, and was telling me that the beach was actually a completely different location "back in the day" and got moved due to some development. Maybe not news for some, but I thought that was interesting.
In terms of location, I'm starting to feel like the east side is best, for me anyway - closer to rope steps, more beach, and those looking for sun vs. extra which seems to happen near the fallen tree? Maybe I'm off base.
I tried walking far west to see where it would take me, but quickly ran out of naturists so decided to turn back.
in any case, will stop rambling now. Cheers.
