[F4A] Welcome to the World of Pokémon
I take a deep breath and throw my Poké Ball.
My little Caterpie crawls forward with determination, its antennae trembling slightly. It’s not strong but it’s my partner.
My opponent grins and sends out a Weedle. Two beginner Pokémon but Weedle immediately looks more aggressive.
“Caterpie, String Shot!”
Caterpie fires sticky threads that slow Weedle down. A good start.
My opponent isn’t impressed.
“Weedle, Poison Sting.” Weedle strikes. Caterpie staggers back.
I shout "Tackle, go!”
Caterpie bravely lunges forward and hits but Weedle shrugs it off.
Another Poison Sting.
Caterpie collapses. It tries to get up but can’t manage it.
My opponent calls out loudly:
“Caterpie is unable to battle. Victory is mine!”
I kneel beside Caterpie, lift it up gently and whisper “We’ll keep training. Next time we’ll win.”
A thought flashes to my already empty wallet. Maybe today is the day I’ll have to pay for my defeat in a different way…
Hey everyone,
I was wondering what it would be like if, in the Pokémon world, it were accepted to settle your losses in ways other than with Pokédollars. I’d also love to have an ongoing story. I’m happy to play in‑universe as one of the Pokésluts but I’m also open to other references.
IMPORTANT!!!!
In my world, trainers only begin their adventure journeys once they are fully grown and 18 years old!!! I also explicitly want only human interaction. Everything else is up for discussion :)
