 Sign of wealth was made using colored pencils and is a homage to Renaissance paintings where yellow lemons would be a show of impressive shading capabilities from the artist, along with being a more expensive staple in the collectors or commissioners home. I also use purple for the female figure because it is a novelty known for the royal and rich as it takes two different dyes to create so it was associated with the nobility.
