Skadi – The Last Oathkeeper ADOPTABLE

Somewhere among the stars, a classified project known as Project Hikari sought to create the perfect warrior by combining Kobold and Wolf DNA.

Before she could become a weapon…

Argentine pilot Captain Malvina Morales Laurens and Japanese geneticist Dr. Kenji Takahashi chose to save her instead.

They gave her a name.

They taught her compassion.

They taught her honor.

When the organization discovered their betrayal, they disappeared to protect the child they had rescued.

Her escape pod eventually crashed deep within the forests of southern Argentina.

There, Skadi grew up alone.

She learned to survive.

To understand the language of the forest.

And to master the katana Kenji left behind as his final gift.

Over time, she realized that her greatest strength never came from the experiment that created her.

It came from the love, kindness, and courage of those who raised her.

Today she protects those forests as if they were her own family.

Every battle honors the two people who sacrificed everything to give her a second chance at life.

And on the quietest nights…

She still looks up at the stars.

Not because she’s waiting for someone to return—

But because she refuses to forget where her journey began.

⚔️ Final WIP Update

This will be the final look at Skadi before I reveal the finished illustration.

I want to sincerely thank everyone who has followed this journey with me. Every comment, theory, piece of constructive feedback, and word of encouragement has helped this project grow far beyond what I ever imagined.

While I put the finishing touches on her…

I’d like to share one last piece of her story.

Recovered File — The Oath

Months passed.

Then…

Years.

The forest no longer felt unfamiliar.

She learned the language of its creatures.

She learned the rhythm of the seasons.

She learned which plants could heal…

…and which ones could kill.

Yet she never stopped looking at the stars.

Every night she searched for the same star.

The one she remembered from the window of Atlas Station.

Eventually, she accepted a painful truth.

Perhaps no one was coming for her.

Perhaps Kenji and Malvina would never return.

That night…

She stopped waiting.

She knelt in the snow.

Planted her katana into the frozen ground.

And made a promise she would never break.

“If I cannot return to my family… then I will protect the home they gave me.”

From that day on…

Earth was no longer the planet where she crashed.

It became her home.

Chapter I — The Hero Who Had Everything

“Before he became a legend… he was simply a father.”

Across the known galaxy, few names inspired as much hope as Kael, the Space Soldier Kobold.

A decorated veteran of countless interstellar wars, Kael devoted his life to protecting worlds that would never know his name. While empires rose and fell and entire star systems were consumed by conflict, he never fought for glory.

He fought for a dream.

A dream that one day his wife and daughter would grow up in a galaxy where they would never witness the horrors he had endured.

For one brief moment…

That dream became reality.

He left the battlefield behind and settled on a peaceful frontier colony, where he built a quiet life alongside the woman he loved and the little daughter who became the reason behind every smile.

He believed the war was finally over.

He was wrong.
