New to this. Voyeur/exhibitionist? Looking for the right kind of venue in Sydney
My Husband (37M) and I (34F) are completely new to this.
I've read my fair share of smut/mummy porn over the years (think salacious players club series) and have always been really turned on by the idea of being somewhere we can do our own thing while other people are doing theirs around us. Being able to watch a little, be watched a little, but without actually involving anyone else.
We tried an adult venue (adult theatre) recently and I realised it wasn't quite what I'd pictured.
It was pretty small and mostly single guys hanging around. Felt less like "this is hot, people might be watching us" and more like "looks like we are tonight's entertainment". Since it was our first experience, it was a bit daunting for me personally but that was probably my mistake as that seems to be what that type of venue is meant for.
I think what I'm imagining is a much bigger club/nightclub type atmosphere. Drinks, music, people socialising, different areas, private rooms, open/shared spaces etc. Couples doing their own thing around you so you're not necessarily the sole focus of everyone's attention.
We're not looking to swap or have anyone join us.
We are personally a straight couple ourselves but totally fine being around singles/couples of any orientation and happy to chat/socialise, we just don't want to give the impression we're looking for other play partners.
Basically I think I want the whole "we can see you, you can see us, everyone's doing their own thing" vibe.
Is this just voyeurism/exhibitionism? Parallel play? Soft swinging without the swinging?
And are swingers/lifestyle clubs actually the right place for this if we have zero intention of swapping?
Also, are there any unspoken rules or signs when it comes to this, we want to be respectful to everyone and have some understanding before diving in.
Also very keen for recommendations for places/events around the wider Sydney, Australia area (happy for further out if the venue matches what is in my head) that have this kind of vibe because I feel like what I'm picturing must exist... I just have no idea what I'm meant to be searching for.
