Shaping up to be a great day here at the beach! Almost 11 and the beaches starting to fill up with steady stream arriving :)

Pretty foggy still here, 200’ visibility but getting better.
Temp is not bad .. .. 👍
It should be better this afternoon as it warms.

Rained….for a good part of the afternoon. It did clear up end of day. So much driftwood on the beach.

Unfortunately, the road is still closed to lot 4/5 today.
Speaking to staff, they expect it to be open for the long weekend 👍🏻

We visited the park today. Road to Lot 4&5 still closed due to water. Speaking to Rangers, they’re presently pumping out the area, as seen in the pics. Seems a number of beavers have created dams in the area. They are working on the problem, the water is down from where it was a few days ago.

Well the day is finally here. After some 187 days since the park closed for the season, it’ officially reopens today 🎉🎉🎉
We can not wait to get back to one of our favourite beaches. Looking forward to meeting some other couples.
Now if we can just get some warmer weather..,,,

We are so looking forward to getting back to the beach and making some new friends. Hard to believe we’re down to the last 6 1/2 days till the park officially opens… finally 🎉
