Hello, everyone! What I'm interested in attempting is likely not unique, but it is probably rare. I've had the pleasure of running this module for different parties, of all different sizes, and I've gotten interested in attempting a challenge run.
Where the original module mandates that be good-aligned, for the story to progress smoothly, I'm going to do the opposite. I'm looking for selfish, greedy, prideful, perhaps even evil players. Those who are flirting with the darkness inside are also welcome, for this world of gothic horrors can still corrupt those who might consider themselves already corrupted.
You are welcome to bring those evil-aligned characters you've always been wanting to play, and you're welcome to bring befitting kinks, as long as they fit within the constraints of my own personal limits. Remember: you are here to inflict evil on the setting, not on me personally! And for those who might already have experience, either running or playing in the setting, are more than welcome to apply! Nobody makes a better CoS player than someone who already knows what to be familiar with!
Now, for some core information:
* Comically evil characters and murderhobos will be sent to the ignore list. I'm looking for characters whose dark thoughts are an enhancement, not a hindrance.
* As a player, you should be willing to post at least once per day, preferably multiple times per day. I would like to keep things flowing smoothly and to not stall out the game, so I ask for your diligence in this regard. I also have a preference for players that are communicative and friendly out of character, rather than those looking for just a transaction.
* This is mainly made to be a 1-on-1 experience. But I may consider pairs or trios, if a combination seems appealing. Please make it clear in your response whether you have a specific preference to keep being solo.
* Opposition to the main villain, Strahd, should be a consideration. Whether it is with intent to usurp, or for another reason, it should at least be a thought that occurs to your character. Not all Darklords are willing to have a second one on their doorstep!
* Non-negotiables, even in an evil setting are as follows: no underage, no scat, no vore, no extreme gore.
