Base plot: Her longterm dealer finally cut her off. She asked all of her friends who to go to, and eventually one of them gave her your contact information. She’s desperate enough to put up with almost anything.

Example starter:
Marlboro’s mind was fuzzy as she walked down the street, scrolling back through her friend’s messages to find the address he’d given her. She sat down under the awning at the bus stop, checking the schedule to make sure she was remembering correctly which would be coming by next.

She held her worn backpack against her chest as she waited, her hands twitching as she put on her headphones. She got on when it arrived, sitting at the front and continuing to grasp her bag tightly. She was mentally counting how much cash she had on her. Her friend hadn’t told her what his dealer’s pricing was like, and he’d always been snootier than she was.

The late hour meant it didn’t hit any traffic. Still, she was painfully impatient. She hadn’t slept in a couple of days and her heart was racing. She got off in a hurry when they finally got to her stop, half running up the street. Finally, she made it, breathing heavily as she rang the doorbell…
