[M4F] Diplomatic envoy and the local ruler (possible fantasy/sci-fi/historical)
Hello, today I come with a new prompt about a diplomatic envoy, respected ruler and a looming war. I hope you’ll enjoy my prompt and I will provide more details at the end of it. Hope you’ll like it!

Max didn’t really had any desire to be in this country. it was too hot for his taste, he didn’t particularly enjoy local food and the customs here seems like a bother to him. But that’s what you have to deal with as a diplomatic envoy. You go where they tell and you do your best to make the situation better for your country.
This time around, the situation was particularly dire. This country and his own had been in conflict for a long time. It started with trade war. Restrictions on export and import, tariffs and so on and so on. But after series of moves from both sides that couldn’t be interpreted in any other way than as an escalation, a war, a full blown one, was on a brink of happening.
Max was here to do his best to prevent that from coming to pass. That was no easy task. The countries had long lasting distaste for each other but the local ruler seemed to take that to another level. Not only did she dislike anyone from his country but on top of that she seemed to particularly dislike him. This will be no easy task.

The main things we can discuss is the place and
time. I’m open to pretty much everything. Does it take place during ancient times? Medieval? Modern? Or perhaps we take it to the far future and make it a conflict between galactic empires? The possibilities are endless!
Same goes for a location. Middle East? Africa? India? Another galaxy?
Who your character will be is also left to an interpretation! A Queen? President of newly freed country? Or maybe the ruler’s daughter? Part of the diplomatic team?
I have some ideas of own but I would love to hear your suggestions and build an interesting story together!
